On August 30, the annual charity bike ride Burabike - 2018 started at the Rixos Borovoe hotel in the Shchuchinsko-Borovskaya resort area. The organizers are the Rixos Borovoe Hotel and the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation.

Burabike is a massive sporting event whose goal is to raise funds to equip children's hospitals in Kazakhstan with vital medical equipment. For five years, the participants and guests of Burabike donated more than 470 million tenge to charity.

Every year the coverage of the event is growing, and the current Burabike gathered 8 times more participants than the very first, 2 201 people decided to take part this year.

During the race, was traditionally held charity auction, as well as concert and entertainment program for all guests of the event.

For children held workshops and animation program.

All participants of the event could participate in the lottery-drum.
